The Machine is Us/ing us...

I found the video to be rather interesting in that it really challenged the normal everyday way of thinking not only in terms of English but communication as a whole. The title was sort of confusing at first because the music from the first half of the video was a bit harsh, but when I really got a chance to get into the information it was pretty cool. Agreeing with the author, I really do believe this to be true. Not only are computers replacing humans in the workplace, but they are doing it with our help!!! Those able to understand and use the web 2.0 sort of get a jump on the competition in a competitive sense because as long as you have some kind of clue as to what you are looking for, their should be no problem finding it. I really think those unfamiliar with the service or computers in a whole for that matter will suffer for the simple fact of being outdated. This will indeed change the way the world looks at things because no longer will we go on assumptions, when we can meet new people and learn new things on the web.
